Titel: Symbiotic germination at parent plants
Beitrag von: Stanislav am 26.Feb.14 um 10:17 Uhr
Hello friends,
has anyone an experience with the germination of the European tuberous orchids (Orchis, Anacamptis, Ophrys etc.) around mother plants in the pot culture? I mean the deliberate sowing of the seeds around the plant.

Yes Stanislav, I often had germination around the mother plant in the pot at Ophrys. But the substrate has to be very poor with no organic components. The seedling normally survive only 1 year if I don't transfer them in another pot.

This seedlings are of that quality. I wanted to separate germination fungi from them but I had no success.
