Hi,

Has anybody had any succes with this species. I wonder if anybody is succesfully cultivating it. Would love to give the species a try but cant seem to find any successtories that it germinated and is available from seed. Perhaps available through vegative propagation.
Or is it considdered to difficult

Berthold

I had it in the garden for 3 years twice. Then it dissapered.

Epipactis except E. gigantea is very very difficult to germinate from seeds.

Uhu

it is growing in the botanicl garden marburg. They are growing since 30 years in pure calcareous soil - the same where they are growing in nature. germination took place in Dryas.

Ahh i see easy to grow ..

I wouldn't say so. It grows well if there are the suitable fungi in the ground but if not the plant disappears after 1 or 2 years
