Die klitzekleinen Sämlinge aus dem Glas von Claus haben sich in der ersten Saison zu klitzekleinen Scheinbulben von ca. 4 x 2 mm umgebildet und sind jetzt in den Sommerschlaf übergegangen.
Das Pikiersubstrat war Seramis/Neudohum 80/20
Auf den Nährböden, die ich verwende, bekomme ich die Sämlinge im Glas nicht größer. Man muss sie auspikieren, erst dann wachsen sie weiter. Vielleicht brauchen sie eine Temperaturbehandlung im Glas, d.h. einige Monate Arrest im Kühlschrank.

Na, wenigstens eine ist doch weiß! Und die gelbe hat eine schön gefärbte Lippe.
Ich habe bei forrestii mit massivem Knospenwurf zu kämpfen.
Ja manchmal gibt es bei diesen Überaschungseiern auch positive Erlebnisse.
Ich hatte mir letzten Herbst viele Bulben gekauft die habe ich im Kühlschrank überwintert. Dann hatte ich sie erst auf einer kühlen Fensterbank. Da sind fast alle Knospen eingetrocknet. Seit ich sie draußen geschützt an der Hauswand stehen haben klappt alles gut.
Forrestii heute in Estland. Planted at it at autumn on old oak and luckily didnt have strong winter!
Sehr interessant, dass die Art draussen überwintern konnte.
Wie kalt war es im Winter bei Dir und wo wohnst Du?

We are finally successful Jan and me with this very difficult species.
Jan was propagating it on his Cypripedium media but it was only inducing embryogenic callus.
We tried my replating media for Ophrys, Orchis, Bonatea, Chloraea and it worked (the plants was able to differentiate).
Next year, we will have very nice bulbs to deflask

Nico, die Pleione forrestii ist in Estland nicht heimisch. Das ist eine Kulturpflanze ;-)
Ach so , dennoch schick weil sie aufm baum wächst
Bei mir wächst sie im Topf.
Steht das ganze Jahr über frostfrei, (sehr) feucht und wächst im Sphagnum.

Würde mich auch brennend interessieren. Meine ist mir abgefault, wie bei Berthold. Was ist der Trick an der forrestii?

Immer, auch im Winter.
Sie steht in feiner Pinienrinde, gemischt mit Perlite und etwas Pflanzerde.
Es ist so nass, das darauf Sphagnum wächst.
